At the heart of the Gospel is the cross and the source of its power is the empty tomb.

Welcome!

I'm glad you're here!

The mystery of our Christian faith is:

Christ has died; Christ is risen; Christ will come again.

The Bible says that after His resurrection and before His ascension into heaven, Christ Jesus of Nazareth spoke to His disciples:

“All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Therefore, go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.” Matthew 28:18-20 (NIV)

What is known as the Great Commission – “go and make disciples of all nations” – is the life mission of every disciple of Jesus Christ.

We are living in the time between Christ's ascension into heaven and His promised return to earth. Because Christ is risen, and Christ will come again, the question for each of us is, “How do I pursue my mission for our Lord in the meantime?”

The Bible says that when Jesus was about to ascend into heaven, He made a promise to His disciples: “… you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you, and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.” Acts 1:8 (NIV)

One of the best ways we can fulfill our purpose of making disciples is to share our stories. Although we are characters in our stories, God is the main character and our stories are our witness to His ongoing presence, love, mercy and grace in our lives. Our individual stories are unique because no one else has ever lived the life each of us is living. By telling our stories, we are Christ’s witnesses empowered by the same Holy Spirit Who empowered His disciples and has empowered every Christian believer down through the ages.

In my blog posts entitled In the Meantime, I share my stories about God the Father, Son and Holy Spirit and His presence, love, grace and mercy in my life.

On this website, I also share some resources that are foundational to the Christian faith and to the Church Jesus is building.

My prayer is that these stories and resources will encourage you to reflect on your life and the Lord's ongoing presence, boundless love, unfailing mercy and abundant grace in it, inspire you to grow in your faith, help you to appreciate how telling your stories will lead others to Christ and encourage you to share your stories with others for your good, for their gain and to God's glory.

I pray that the Lord will show you and you will accept who you are, Whose you are and why you’re here.

And I hope you will share your story with all who will listen.

I would love to hear your story!

“May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.”  Romans 15:13 (NIV)

God bless you!
